what ****'s itself bottom end or head gaskets. if head gaskets why couldnt he a set of copper ones made up. maybe even slightly thicker than standard to try and lower the compression.

swap them around left to right and right to left. the pressure onthe cv joint is always on one side and by swapping them it puts the pressure onto the other as yet unused side.

hi all im looking at pulling my 5 speed gear box apart and replacing the synchros on 2nd and 3rd gear. my car is an 89 model wagon (ea82). does anyone hear have any images of the internals of the gear box ie a diagram showing all the components,and even better does anyone know where i can get any information regarding pulling the box apart and replacing the worn synchros. all the workshop manuals i have seen are not that great. i have already tried the byb board to no success. any help would be very much appreciated.
