Tony, your RX *did* have the checkered seats. I helped Dennis convert them over to XT6. They were ripped all to hell and were half duct tape. But the shape of them was oh so comfortable! OOPS... need to remember to log in next time. This is Steve (TROGDOR!), I'm over at Jeremy's house right now.

i agree with steve , i Really Want to go to this too , they way it looks ill have to work the 13th ,ill try to get it off ,i dont work the 6th , but with steve graduateing from college ( congrats you lucky bastard ) the 13 would be the better date to go , il make sure some how that i can go to this. mabey by then i can bring the XT-6

How do you take out the Gauge Cluster in a 88 XT DL , it has the analog gauges , im thinking some mods are in order , Plans are top secret till the finished product. Lets Just Say it will be bad rump roast !!! and involve Light Sheet !.

My Dash Face is broke and i wish to replace it with one in good order. But i cant Figure out how to get the Dash Face off intact , is there some special way i gotta do this ? im going to the bone yard this weekend with Steve ( TROGDOR ) and was planning on picking up a New Dash Face non broken , i dont want to break the thing trying to get it out. Also , if anyone has a Turbo XT Hood they know of thats in good shape let me know. i know it is only a DL but the scoop on the Turbo Hood , Just give's the car a whole nother Additude. i wish my 88 XT to OWN Another Question , in a XT has anyone installed a Aftermarket Stereo ? i know dumb Question But what i mean is GET say this http://www.cardomain.com/sku/PIODEHP640 i already have the Stereo , This one is going in my 92 Escort LX-E But im going to buy something Simular for the XT before terribly long and would like to Mount it in the Dash where the stock radio is , with a Clean look. are there any aftermarket Radio install kits for the XT ? or am i going to have to fab something myself. subyluvr2212 ill let you know how the install goes , thought it will probably go easyier for me as i work at University Motors as a AutoMotive Technition , so im going to install the shifter bushings at work. bushbasher As for the Trouble shifting where you it could be Shifter bushings , Could also be shift linkage , The Clutch might not be engageing all the way makeing it more diffucult to shift gears , could be any of those things , im not too experienced with subarus Yet , but will be before long. MY 88 XT needs New Shifter Bearings , So i called all the parts stores in the Morgantown area only to find none Carried my Much Needed Bearing kit. ( shifter slops like crazy ) anyway , so i call the Subaru Dealership get connected to their service DEPT. and Guess What , They HAVE IT !!! i had to order it cause it wasnt in stock , but i ould get it ! and it is only 25 bucks for the compleate KIT !.
