  1. Thank you for this post because I was going nuts scraping the D@^^N window. Now atleast I know there is a solution, other than taking my parts vehicle window. By the way this happened to my 1990 Loyale. You Rock I'll Roll!!
  2. If you look on the rear diff to the left of the filler plug you should see a foil sticker that has LSD in big letters. If you don't see the sticker just scrape off debri with a knife or a screwdriver.
  3. I'm not worried about the springs that much, I was just wondering if the noise could be coming from the axle or the half shaft? Thanks for the help
  4. The car is a 1990 Loyale 4wd w/a 3sp trans. It has 113000 miles on it. I plan on switching the drivetrain out with a 5sp d/r from my 87 but I'd still like to know where the hell this noise is coming from. When I'm driving down the road and the road gets a little rough my car sounds like something is loose in the @$$ end. When I'm on a dirt road it gets even worse. I crawled under the car and tapped on everything an noticed that on the driver's side where the axle boot meets the hub when tapped on makes a noise. Ididn't check my 87 for the same, but this justs sounds rough. Any help?
  5. No, I want to swap the 3sp in the 90 with the 5sp and t-case from the 87. I want to make my Loyale a 5sp w/dual range.
  6. I have an 87 GL wagon w/a 5sp trans and a dual range t-case that I'd like to put in my 90 Loyale 3sp auto. I was wandering if this is an easy swap or do I need a degree? I need the dual range t-case to keep up with the jeeps up here in Alaska. Any help would be great.
