Yea, those are great inexpensive radio's. You can even buy them used for ~50 bucks depending. Cheap to Tweak & Peak too!

I got an old cobra 29 and a small amp run into a wilson 1000. Havent had this stuff hooked up for a few years. 6Th Ave and simms st. in that pic right? That was a good lil hill to talk at when I lived out there. And Hyden park down the road. Lookout mountain was great when you really wanted to make some noise.
