September 30, 200916 yr I've owned 3 subaru's and have been wanting to lift every one of them. Now I'm on my 4h Subaru and I want to lift it. I don't want to get a suspension lift mainly because i dont want to go through cv-axles. I mainly have one question. How good is a body lift? and How easy is it neccessarly to make and install? Also, if i do a body lift do i still need to do an alignment adjustment? ok thats more than 1 question :-P is it neccessarly as easy as bolting in spacers like here: http://ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=102498&highlight=lift I'm on a rather /tight/ budget but, i have access to a welder and some steel. I was thinking 2 - 3". Oh By the way I'm working on a '88 GL, EA82 Wagon. Edited September 30, 200916 yr by crazyman03 wrong title

It takes me about 2 hours to put the whole thing on, and Yes it is as easy as bolting it up just like that, that is a 2" lift, 3" you have to drop all the crossmembers and that is a far more involved deal..................
