October 19, 200916 yr Dogbone, torque strut, top motor mount - whatever you want to call it. Mine has a little side-to-side play (but no foward-backward) when I jiggle it by hand. Time to replace, or is that normal? (150k miles, so it's probably long gone)
October 19, 200916 yr Have you tighten the mount bolts. The front and back are rubber mounted, but the center of the mount is a steel bushing which get pinched between the engine and body mount points.
October 20, 200916 yr Personally I've never seen a pitching stopper like wear out..Ive seen them break...All it really does is keep the engine/trans aligned...
