RAugur33
What is wrong with FRAM?
TheLoyale
What is wrong with FRAM? Do we need to go over this again? Most of Fram filters use cardboard end caps, which at times break down and enter the oil system clogging bypass holes, lifters, oil passages ect.. Causing internal engine failure. Theres alot of threads on this, do a search sometime -Tom

pwjm
lol, the fram is gone. I heeded the warnings of the subaru gods (this forum). It's some white one now, forget which brand though. 210,000 km's and it still runs like a top despite me having fiddled with it several times!! It's not really surprising though considering how simple the design is. OHV pushrod motors FTW! It's a hell of a lot more simple than the 240sx motor I've got torn down.
