buzzing noise 2000 legacy a/t wagon 2.5

Featured Replies

buzzing noise coming from main fuse box under hood , located which one the 2 black breakers closes to the drivers side strut ,but only does it when it is real cold out 10-15 degrees , checked both out all clean , should i replace or nothing to worry about, right before i start the car,

Sounds like a bad relay, or one with a bad connection.

Open the fuse box lid and touch the relays with your finger until you find the culprit.

What could happen depends on what the relay is for...

I had a buzzy relay on a VW some time back. The relay still seemed to work, but I replaced it anyway. I figured it was cheap insurance to replace before it caused trouble.
