Lets get back to basics and forget everything.

Lest try the simple first. Rotate the tires one side at a time and see if it moves.

Nipper , thanks for you help .

Tried that , went front to back , left to right . The Goodyear snows are unidrectional so we demounted them and flipped them around . Vibration still there . One rim was slightly out of round , replaced with new " tested true " one , just in case . We really like the car .

Keep suggesting .

Very

Do you have "summer tires" for this car? Was this issue there with them?

Yes , they have broken belts. the tires and rims were given to me by my brother from his mother in laws Dodge Shadow . Don't think her car ever met a pothole or curb it didn't like .

I wonder if with the first snow storm , if accelerating really hard moved something or put something out of alignment ?

Has anyone ever had issues with their engine or transmission mounts ?

thanks :banghead:

Common thing for the tranny mount to fail with age. The rest of them seem to last the life of the car.
