January 20, 201016 yr So I piped an EA81/82 OPsender into where the EJ22 OPsender goes. OP gauge shot up to 75 and stayed. I don't trust it because the gauge will shoot to 75 if I add 12v w/out the sender. Thoughts?
January 21, 201016 yr I did the same thing, it took a few different parts. But mine worked fine, I wired mine straight into my gauge wire.

January 21, 201016 yr Author what? yea, something isn't right. the gauge reads resistance to ground. it should peg to max when grounded.... That's what I thought NC. When I was restoring my boat (1959 Skagit) I grounded the gauges to be sure that they were working. Back to the drawing board.
