  1. Hi , I'm looking for a complete set of rear disc brakes ( complete ) hubs , e- brake cable for my 98 Forester . Any one got a set for sale ? I'm in Beverton. Thanks
  2. I had a 87 gl turbo wagon, that i was going to put a WRX in it. I already put the wrx trans in and the wrx rear end in. I had a complete 5 lug swap in it also. The peddle assembly was a little difficult also, there is alot of fab work to do, be ready for that. I started to call the car My money pit project. The motor will fit just barely betrweeen the frame rails, but it will fit , also you need the cross member from the xt6 if I remember right. In the long run I took all of my parts back off and got rid or the car. It was costing way to much money .It was fun but the ej 22 is alot easier and alot of fun to do and it does not take but a week end to do it. Also not bad on the pocket.
  3. Where about do ya live? I really would like to see your project

  4. Hey kinka slowed down on my subi's. But you have to build your own back cross member, plus shifting linkage. It is really not to hard to do

  5. Hey been off here for a long time. give me a call and we will see what we can do Robert@ 503-680-0473

  6. Great yes I remember

  7. I put a ej AWD trans in my 87 gl and it was easy, also I'm putting a 86 gl together. It consists of all wrx tranny and rear diff, 5 lug conversionand yes a wrx motor will fit between the frame rails. If you can dream it, it can be built.
  8. I just got a 85 sedan a couple of months ago. It started out as a auto and now is a 5speed d/r, disk brakes all the way around and a 2.2 motor in it. I'm loveing it.
  9. Het I just double checked, I was wrong . You can tow a AWD subaru that is a manual in neutral. I googled it

  10. hey forgot to ask you, is that a 5 speed or a auto

  11. Hey nice job! What power sreering lines did you use ? Thanks
  12. I put a impreza AWD trans in a 87 gl wagon. For front axles, I hink I found a shop in Tigard that can make them. I'm in the process of putting the 2.2 in now. and thanks to Pooparu, I put a LSD 4:11 rear end in it. Will get back with results on axles
  13. If you do a complete dash swap to a 87 , you will get rid of that problem. To the the dash swap it only takes a couple of hours to do. It is easy to do. Go to U-pull it and get a 87 dash and wiring harness and it is a plug and play.
  14. I forgot, what is the name of the on line subaru Oem parts? Thanks
  15. Well so far the swap is going easy. I got the middle section of a ej trans x-member and drilled out my stock ea, x-member and it fits perfect. Now for the fear section may be more difficult. The car has a SJR 4 inch lift on it already
  16. I'm doing a impreza AWD trans in mine, it also has a 2.2 in it , all disk brakes and getting a LSD rear diff. 15 in rims with 27's. I think it will handle great
  17. Hey Im doing one now. I have a 87gl wagon hi/lo 5 speed and changing it over to a AWD 5 speed with 4:11 finals. With the set up it has right now, it has to much wheel pull. It does not handle well. This for my boy,he just started driving. So far so good.
  18. Pop out two of your lugs opposite of each other on you suby hub. Then you can use the two lugs that are left to bolt up to a 6 bolt pattern and there is your pattern
  19. I did the same thing, it took a few different parts. But mine worked fine, I wired mine straight into my gauge wire.
  20. yes and most important douple yes
  21. Yes I have a 87 gl wagon and I had water coming in and could not find the leak. One day I was cleaning the dirt out of the gutter rail and to my surprise, there is a body seam. It is where the roof meets the door pilliar. .there is body sealer that the factory used and over the years ,it cracks. So I scraped it out and cleaned it good and resealed it. No more leak! Now on two years and I live in Oregon. and it does rain a little here. P.S. you have to look good for the seam.
