MSSLGECKO
I'm installing both serp. belts on my turbo and cannot get the 'idler' belt on (closest to engine). The idler pulley itself is adjusted up, but the belt will NOT go on. its slightly too short to get onto the idler pulley. The PROBLEM is that this new belt measures up to the one its replacing. It seems odd that it's a fight to get it on the adjuster/idler pulley (which adjusts a significant amount) . . . I'm at a loss at the moment and normally I'd blame the parts store for the wrong length but this is the size that came off!
GeneralDisorder
Wait a sec - you have an EA81T with serpentine belts? I know they never made such a thing so if what you say is true then it's been modified and we'll need at least pictures to help you...... MSSLGECKO
I posted prematurely . . . I got the belts on with the help of two beers. GD, I mis-spoke calling these belts serpentine; my bad, thanks for your attention and the correction! Cheers, - Noah
