there are so many freakin' vacuum lines its not funny. i have an 87 gl hatchback ea81, the smog has been removed by a previous owner. i wanted to know if anyone could show me a vacuum line map or some kind of visual. lots of lines, i don't know what they go to, wear they come from, or for that matter what they are doing (if anything).

sticker on the hood bottom is a start.

oops - come to think of it, not sure if I have a sticker under the hood of my 86 Hatch.

 

Wouldn't a Haynes or Chilton manual show the lines?

im not sure im going to look into that some more.

Just start the car and let it idle and start pulling lines. You'll find out which ones are important!
