roque43
Is there anyone here on the forum who might be interested in moving my GL-10 wagon from NJ to Maine? A few details -- car is in running shape -- was sitting for about 7 years, I got it running in December, but decided not to try to drive it 600 miles home due to its sitting for so long. It is registered and insured. My main concerns are : my minimal sube experience in light of it sitting for so long, (timing belts etc) possible mechanical breakdowns etc. I live on a fixed income, so professional movers are out of the question. Thoughts -- suggestions etc?
JonnieBlue
dont know if this will work for your situation, but i heard recently people have been renting tows from U-haul, seemed a pretty reasonable price, and you wont have to worry about mech problems 600mi from home.. roque43
I have looked into U-Haul truck and trailer, very expensive rental of truck and trailer plus mileage was well over a grand. Time frame is pretty much open -- does not have to happen within a month or anything. sometime in the spring is probably workable. Thanks
