1989 gl-10 turbo 4x4 wagon problem

Featured Replies

It seems the clutch is out but I can't get the car in gear even when it's not running; also, shifter seems very loose - like maybe it's disconnected? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks folks!

If the shifter is too loose then I suggest you check that out. It may have gotten disconnected somehow.

Agreed. The bushings on the shift linkages wearout, things get real sloppy then.

Get it up on jackstands and take a look at it. Have someone move the shifter around for you while you're under there.
