Hi Guys

 

Well i tried to find my old Post and well i couldn't find it. so here i am starting a new one.

 

I'm in the process of Restoring my 92 Loyale.

 

Specs:

1.8L SPFI H4

1992

Wagon

3 Speed Automatic

 

First off i'm Restoring the Badly Rusted Body.

 

when i first got my 92 Loyale (April 30th 2005):

Ordered the Rust Repair Panels from JC Whitney. L & R Wheel Arches. ($120)

 

My First Restoration. so i am new to this and will be asking for help from the guys that know about Restoration.

Engine Bay clean up:

 

Also Cleaned up some Rust.

 

now this is pretty much surface rust. i need to clean that up so i can POR it later on.

any suggestions on cleaning up the surface rust under the body ?

8ozes i don't think is enough hopefully they have it in larger container.

Minor Update:

 

Interior Put in. just not cleaned up.

canceled panels.. no longer available

you got to get rid of that 3eat there slooooowwwww , but the car is still awsome ,

oh defiantly. but there's no 4EAT for loyal.

unless i use 1 from a turbo and its Electronic Shift. i say Fuq that after the trouble i had with my 91 legacy.

i haven't laied a tool on her for several months now.

all i did was move her across the field once more

Ordered the Rust Repair Panels (Mill Supply not JCWhitney)

going to use the rocker support from xt6 if its any good.

I used Scubert to Pull Subie out of the Yard.

(big bro pulls little sister :-p)

 

 

After/during Restoration, rust proofing/resisting will be applied.

 

found 2 Loyale's for Parts. well one is a GL.

trying to buy both for parts. (both Manual Trans)

 

after reconstruction of the Rocker i'd like to fill it with that foam stuff that hardens and gives the car strength.

what was that stuff called ?.
