July 3, 201015 yr Ok on the front of my engine on a 91 Lego, there are two cylinder shaped pieces with hex key heads, right in front just under the timing belt and infront of the oil pan...... What the heck are they???? and would they be able to cause an oil leak if not adjusted right?
July 3, 201015 yr Those guys are the oil pressure relief valves. They could leak but if you are seeing oil here its is most likely the o-ring that goes between the oil pump and block. Cheap part>decent amount of work to get to it. If you are in this far replace: timing belt, water pump, belt idler pulleys, cam seals and front seal in oil pump.
July 3, 201015 yr Author Damn... ok . Kinda sucks just did belt water pump and pulleys but skipped over the seals:-\ thanks a million though, saved me countless hours of staring at the bottom of my car. (I am startin to hate that view)
July 4, 201015 yr always do the seals...they are cheap and keep scenarios like this from happening. I hate that view too... the, "where are you leaking from now" view.
