July 11, 201015 yr Help! Not sure what to do. Husband is fighting me on this one. I have owned this car since 1985. Have stored it since 1993 when first child was born. Driving it only occasionally on w-ends. I want to move it out of my garage and have had numerous offers but now it's becoming a fight in our household. Husband won't help. It is still fun to drive and gets lots of looks but husband doen't want to tinker with it when need be. Sell or not to Sell? Edited July 11, 201015 yr by convertiblegirl
July 11, 201015 yr If this is at all real. You have a unmolested, original convertable. They didnt make many convertables and hardly any are in that good of condition. Tell your husband with all due respect he is an idiot and you need to keep the rare classic car.

July 11, 201015 yr Wow, that looks nice. So, in your first post, are you saying that you want to keep it, but he doesn't want to work on it? What kind of work does it need?
July 11, 201015 yr Author I want to sell. I guess I'm the idiot as you stated. Too many cars not enough space. Just needs some tender love and care. Someone that wants to drive it and do basic up keep. Of course, I showed it yesterday and took up the top now the top won't go down. Go figure. I'm sure it's an electrical issue. That's what happens when a car doesn't want to leave it's owner. Maybe a sign.
July 11, 201015 yr I would almost travel to KY to get another nice convert (if the price was right). If this was black, it would be a done deal.
July 11, 201015 yr Agreed. Rule number one. You dont sell a rare rust free subaru. You could always put a subaru wrx drivetrain in it and have something outrageously unique.
July 12, 201015 yr Im guessing she sold it because the Craigslist ad is gone. I really wanted this car and tried to justify buying it, but the time is just not right for another toy at my house. It was one of the cleanest, nicest ones I have seen though.
