Struts and shocks for 1989 GL-10 Turbo 4wd wagon

Featured Replies

OK - I'm sure the info is in this forum somewhere but I'm dumbfounded and have had no luck finding out which KYB GR2 struts and shocks will fit my wagon or where to buy them. I've tried a couple of sites and found the rears but can't seem to find the front struts...help?!?

Thanks everyone!

I found a pair of front kyb's on ebay last year for $75. Got the rears for the same price from rock auto if I remember correctly. The ebay struts were brand new and had no defects. The kyb's are a little stiff but the ride is good. I can drink my coffee going over the potholes no problem now.

If you search for kyb struts here I'm sure you'll find a post with the part numbers.

Thanks for the info; are the KYBs or any front struts hard to find or what? Will ones for a 4wd sedan work? ARRRGGGGHHHH!! Why is this so difficult...anyone out there have some suggestions? I'd really like to be driving the car but it's just too darn bouncy right now!

Thanks all!

Yes, Absolutely!

Remember that the Only Difference on Subaru 2WD and 4WD Struts are that those intended for 4WD has the Spring Coil's Base welded two inches Taller in the Strut's Body, so it is Not Good Idea to Mix 2WD with 4WD Struts in the Same Car... unless you want to Raise Higher a Li'l bit the Rear or the Front of the Car, comparing with the other side...

Kind Regards.
