late night swap+crossed heater hoses=???

Featured Replies

So i've done a few swaps and i'm familiar with what goes where but late last night/early this morning i was rushing to finish a 2.2 swap and i crossed the two rear drivers side heater hoses! i drove it to work this morning, it did not overheat but felt slugish/sounded funny and now i've got a coolant leak coming from somewhere on the drivers side head/intake! i've got a day off so i'll dig a little deeper but any ideas about where i should be looking? please tell me it's just a intake gasket failure.. the motor is a phase1 2.2. and ya i know..bad rookie move! thanks!

Swapping the heater core hoses does effectively nothing except reverse the flow through the heater core. Not a big deal and probably unrelated to your leak.
