Featured Replies

hey guys- i want to pick a few subaru brains here.

2000 forester 2.5 sohc auto

idles great, runs great- but while driving, if you accelerate, or come to an incline, it stumbles, acts as though its out of gas, if you let off it goes away. typically its at its worst between 1500 and 2750

it has- new plugs and wires, new air and fuel filters, new pcv, ect

everything sensor wise is clean.....

cat was replaced a few years ago-

02 sensors replaced a few years back, she says less then 20 since then

ideas?

forgot- all grounds have been cleaned.

and teh CEL flashes eery now and then

How many miles. I bet the CEL is misfire if it is flashing.

When was the last time the wires were replaced along with the timing belt?

i inspected the belt- its in good shape, wires replaced this afternoon

has 169k on it, getting an intermitent code for cyl 2 misfire

im betting the belt was fone at 105, it is a subaru belt

What kind of wires? Mist the coil at night and see if you see any sparklies.
