Has anyone drilled a 6 lug alloy wheel for the 4 lug conversion? Is there some reason not to drill an alloy wheel? It looks like most people are drilling steel wheels only.

ahem, DONT DO IT!!! it wont work, alloys are weak enough as it is and drilling them only makes it worse. go to the junkyard and get yourself some steelies and do it right

As already stated.... DON"T DO IT! You knock out two opposite studs on the hub then bolt the rim on. Using a centering punch, mark the four remaining holes of the rim onto the hub. Drill them and insert new studs....
