Mount walker WA questions

Featured Replies

I've seen a couple of guys on youtube (

) trucking through a mudholes on mount walker and i was just wondering what's the minimum tire size you recommend for that trail?

I've got AT 27's and haven't seen any smaller than that up there. No stuckage yet, but weather could change that easily. Having a welded diff is equally important! Here's mine...one of the funnier vids up there:

hows you neck doing?

that looks like some serious fun! I cant wait to get out there...

Some of those trails up in Walker Valley get pretty intense with rocks, holes, mud etc.

I've done it both on 27's and 30's. Would highly recommend 30's and a welded rear diff.

And it's Walker Valley, not mount walker

30's are about as big as you want to go, 235/75/15's or 30X9.50X15's they are for the most part about the same as for small 27's are the least you would want to run, I would say 30's are the least to go up there, you can make it with smaller ones but it picks your car up 1.5" over a 27 and that makes a difference....................
