I have an '88 Justy, 2wd, with carb problems. It runs pretty good at speed, but will not idle. I do know that I need a thermostat. Never really warms up.Screw adjustments are not the problem. Parts stores want a ton of money for a rebuilt carb. Any other options????

Check to make sure the anti-diesel solenoid is getting power and is not knackered.

Replace the tstat, you may have a feedback carb controlled by an ECU and if the engine temp is not up to closed loop op temp it may be causing problems.
