96 LSi code problems

Featured Replies

i have a 96 lsi and i had a truble code 14 for the trany, bad wire so i fixed the wire. now i have more codes. has this happend to anyone else? dose this mean i have a bad TCM? i realy dont want to chase all of the codes and find out that its just the tcm. the new codes are 12,13 and 23. i have a good manual so i know what they are and how to trouble shoot them but would rather just know first.

Save us a little work please and post what they codes mean. Can be as simple as a connnector not fully plugged in, especially if they were not there before.

sry, 12 is solinoid B, 13 is shift solinoid 3, and 23 is engine speed signal.

there was a broken insulation and was grounding so i cut out the bad part and soldered in a new part. this was the number 10 wire from the b55 plug from the TCM, its the common/ground wire for the shift solenoids and inhibitor switch.
