Front lift and brake lines

the stock lines should be long enough.

This is completely dependant on what type of lift.

I have a 6 inch lift on my 84 GL

I rerouted my hardlines to a new hole, lower in the inner feder. I also unclipped the lines from the strut mounts, and ziptie them higher up.

i simply "re-aligned " the brakelines with my last lift(6").just slightly reshaped them whilst pulling from the inner fender well....also cut the brake tab lines on the strut and used zipties.

as amatter of fact i think every set of brakes on a car i have driven have beeen free;d from the strut.makes changing struts easier and less hzssle...

cheers, b

Thanks guys.

Im lifting just 2 inches, and would like to avoid modifying the hard lines in any way.

So if I disconnect the soft line from the strut I should have enough length?

Yep, and some to spare. I did the same with my 4 inch lift.
