Featured Replies

:mad:will a 95 a/t radiator fit into 98 a/t forester , while working on a 98 forester , found it had a bad radiator ,

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,looks like the plugs are different ? or a radiator from a 97 a/t fit work

Edited by 86subaru

Forester is really an Impreza - atleast radiator wise.

Filler will be on the opposite side.

I've never tried using a Legacy rad. I always seem to have enough around of whatever I need.

looks like the 97 outback will fit and plug in , metal fan covers, the 95 the plug is different and plastic fan covers, + the 97 is a newer radiator,

if you have any problems, i got a new one from radiatorbarn last year i think it was for $98 shipped to my door. great price and no time spent, on my door step.

there on vacation, or closed, the plugs are different , anyway to splice the wire, i have a good one from a 97 outback but the plugs are different,

Can you switch the whole fan assy's? From the old rad?

Just a thought. Because Id just get the correct rad myself.

Does the Legacy rad fill on the same side as the Forester rad?

yes they fill from both sides, the radiator i have is after market and metal and the forester no bracket plastic , different sizes,
