April 24, 201114 yr Does this hose have a check valve in it? (heard it at outback.org That might explain why my vacuum readings were so high? If I can't use that then where else can you check for vacuum?
April 24, 201114 yr Lets back up a bit. You can only get as much vacume as there is barometric reading, but thats almost impossible on an engine at idle. http://www.classictruckshop.com/clubs/earlyburbs/projects/vac/uum.htm Now what is "too high" and at what condition. And no the PB system can not make you read too much vacume.
April 24, 201114 yr still did not answer the question, what was the reading and no it wont cause too high a reading.
April 24, 201114 yr And I am om a blackberry with a small screen. Either tell me what it is doong or ill answer it tomorrow when I can see it.
April 24, 201114 yr Author hah I'm on my evo here quick question does your text type out slow here? Anyways here is the link for the test other then the brake booster hose. You can use any other vac line other then the hose that runs to the brake booster.
April 25, 201114 yr There is this word that comes to mind.... it strikes pure horror in some people. other people just look in awe, others wish it could be them, and yet others are non-plused by the word. Live not in fear, as it can be comforting ... NORMAL! 20-25 In Hg is normal for a healthy engine at idle.
