Has anyone re-strung one of those? I'd like to eventually get the one on my hatch fixed, but would like to get pointers from anyone who's done it before. Something tells me its not nearly as fun as it looks.

You mean the rear hatch itself?Cant be that hard.I have pulled one out , but not put one in.:)IIRC it is all under the plastic along the door sill, then up and through the hump...

I've replaced that cable once, but it was over 15 years ago so my memory isn't the best. You need to pull the plastic trim from the door sill and go from there. You may need to pull out the back seat too.
