Blu will need new sneakers next year, but since there is a sale at tire rack, and he may need them this year i am thinking of these

I do like my BFG but I they dont last as long as some tires and these are on sale, have a vetter rating, and not much more money. I axctually have emergency fundage for tires and a PS rack, so may as bite the bullit and go broke.

205/75r15's will fit fine, and are a little bigger than stock. You have a lift on Blu, so I'd go bigger if you could.

215/70r16's will also fit on a stock wheel WRX with Outback Struts with slight rubbing on the rear rocker, easily fixed with a couple hammer taps. So I would assume 215/75r15's would fit the same way. With your lift they probably won't rub at all.

The geolanders are reasonable tires.

The 215/75r15's are a 27.7" tire, but blu being an automatic would have 4.44 final gearing which will be fine with the larger tire.

Cool. I was wondering more about the tires themselves but maybe i will go up a tire size. I do offroad a few times a year thats why I wanted a tire that would suit that better. The BFG's were good, but these have better ratings. BFG's used to be cheap but now with better tires not that much more it is time to upgrade.

The bigger the tire, the higher the car, the easier it is to get in and out with a bad back. I did a bit of looking around and saw a few reports of 215/75r15's fitting with minimal rubbing on outback strut only cars. With your additional lift, they should fit fine.

Except there is a weeee problem, and i mean wee. My 81 year old mother has to be able to get in and out of Blu too. At 5.0 feet tall more lift and Mom will require a running board :)

I don't think an extra 3/4" height will inconvenience her too much.

Sadly it will. Mom is starting to slow down and has joint issues, thought odd thing is she can bend down and pick things up off the floor beter then i can :)

Sounds like it's time to get some air suspension so you can lower the car for her to get in

PLEASE don't anyone take this the wrong way, but this is the reason I can't have a Jeep (yes I have Jeep envy). Well I would have issues getting into a jeep too, but im not 81 :)

Ideally have Blu and a Jeep.
