Does anyone know how to repair/replace the speedometer drive gear in the transmission? We checked the cable and speedometer and they are ok.

you have to remove the tranny and split it open. Not on of Subaru's brighter ideas...

Already has 5 speed. Just the speedo gear broken inside. Found new gear at dealership now just have to change it.
