Picked up this 85 GL wagon for 500 bucks, been driving it for about a year no big issues, just goes through quart of oil every few days. I think of it as a 2 stroke- But here's the symptoms when it's cold smokes alot, doesn't have a burnt oil smell while driving, doesn't leak at all. Once it's warmed up doesn't smoke at all, any ideas-

The PCV System might be Sucking some amount of Oil. How many Miles has that EA82?

But Also it might be Leaking Oil over the Exhaust System... I Kindly Suggest to Check for Leaks on the Engine, and Check your PCV System for Oil on it.

When I bought the wagon, it had a hiss under the hood found there were 2 Vacuum lines disconnected (I believe one is for altitude), It idled rough,but when I connected them idle was smooth-but there is oil in the airbox, I also changed out the valve. Something doesn't jive still troubleshooting-
