Stopped by the local yard today, and found a 83 Wagon with front fenders in great condition. In fact they're white like my brat. I think I know the answer but will the fenders from EA81 wagons interchange with a 2nd gen Brat?

 

I tried to search prior posts but was unsuccessful.

Seriously??!!!! Yes!!!, that's awesome! I always thought only the hatch and Brat were interchangeable with the fenders.

Be aware that the 1982 has the antenna on the drivers side fender. Im not sure what year exactly, but some point after 1982 the antenna switched over to the passenger side. You may have to drill a new antenna hole out or seal up the passenger side one on the new fender, depending on what sides you are replacing.

 

That is, if you have a 1982. Just throwing this out there for you.

Right on the money. Fenders are the same; just a chance the antenna hole is moved to the other side.

so you could either have no antenna, or 2! I believe the switch was in 83 and stayed the same throughout 87 and 89( brat, hatch respectively)
