2" OFF ROAD SUSPENSION LIFT KITS for EA82 cars

 

This is a bulletproof (literaly, I've tested it ) 2" lift kit for Gen 3 (GL, DL, Loyale, etc.) wagons, coupes, and sedans. It installs in as little as 1 hour if you know what you are doing.

 

It will put extreme angles on you CV axles, so make sure you have good motor and transmission mounts and spare axles just in case. Camber will be very close to stock so you shouldn't see much different tire wear.

I've got one too, although mine came with the car when I bought it.

its about time i see a 2" lift w/o tabs in the back. mine slip on the pass side from time to time. it messes up my strut top. (i have a homebuilt lift, go figure). so.... how much for just some rears? is this price sticking around or just a special? i could prolly buy a whole kit when the man gives me back my taxes.

so all you need to do is bolt these up correct will you also need to extend the steering linkage

on a 2" lift there is no need to extend steering linkage, nor do you need to drop your diff/engine xmember/trans mounts. anything bigger than 2" and you need to do those things.

With this lift, you may or may not need to cut the rear bumb stops off. Other than that it will bolt right in. The front is kind of a b*tch though, but you don't have to modify anything.

My experience with suspension lifts on EA81s has not been good. The shorter axles in them are already at a sharper angle stock than in an EA82, and typically with a 2" lift the axles blow apart in fairly short order. You'd have to do a full lift with body blocks and all that.

you can't clear a 27" on a gen2 BRAT without a 4" lift.

 

You might as well cut away, cause a 2" still wont clear.

Or get a shorter tire. but you would need a 4" lift to clear a 27" with no cutting.

I cleared them with a 3"

I allready have them on it and the only rub if I turn really sharp so 2 is enough. its not going to be used for anything extreme I have a brat with a 6 inch lift for that and I'm going to put a 4 inch on the third brat I have.

my definition of clear = zero rub no matter what.

 

maybe my mistake is taking for other people definition of what they mean by clear.
