cold air leaking in by heater ?

Featured Replies

Hi Folks ! We havebought a new to us , 2004 Legacy Wagon 2.5l with 85,000 KM . Anyway, since we had it , my wife has been complaining that is too cold then, it is too hot , then too cold ...only on the pass. side . We have a blanket in the car. Today I sat on the pass. side..... BRRRRR . Put my hand behind the glove box door . Cold air leaking from some kind of grille with foam under it. Now I called the dealer, and they said no there is "no cabin filter option , at all for this car with the VIN # " . But bring it in and we will look at it But before I go there , I bet some else here at USMB has run across this problem . So what is leaking ? And how to repair it? Thanks for your help :):)

better discription

Either you have a bad heater temp cable, a failed gasket around the blend door in the HVAC or a really touchy temp control.

What kind of HVAC controls are on this car?
