December 18, 201114 yr New tires and windshield on my 373k '90 Loyale wagon, thinking time for struts. I see available from KYB, Monroe, Sachs and Gabriel. Any reason to think any one or the other is better, on a normal, road driven old Loyale? The tires I got were Michelin Harmony radials, from P'nP for $80 the set. Any opinions?
December 18, 201114 yr We used to run a pair of 240 Volvo wagons. One had Gabrials the other KYB. The Gabrial equiped car would beat you up. The KYB car rode and handled much better. Almost identical cars. Both had the same tires as well. Only differance one was a turbo 5 speed the other n/a auto. KYB for my money.
December 19, 201114 yr I recently put gabriel's on all 4 corners of my 91 loyale and I really like the ride. The price on amazon was really cheap.
December 19, 201114 yr the KYB's are heavily used on subaruoutback.org and seem more popular. i got new rears for my wagon for $51 each online - try advanced auto, thepartsbin.com, or rockauto.com and be sure to search for a discount coupon code for whichever one you go with. "P20" in the advanced auto parts online discount section gives you 20% off their prices right now, just used it the other day.
