  1. I used the Duplicolor years ago when I did a BMW 2002. Multiple very thin coats work best. It will wear off on high use areas. The outside seat bolster showed the origional color when I sold it but that was after a couple of years as a DD.
  2. I've run K&N's and was really not happy with how many fines got through. Had em on both a Kawasaki Z1 and a dual Weber BMW 2002. Boy I miss both of those. And they lived on pavement. Maybe if you used the prefilter and cleaned em and reoiled every other week
  3. Good luck with the lube shop. If you had brung it back in a day or 2 yeah. I have a friend with a transmision shop. Customer brings his car in 2 months after A/T was rebuilt. Yup tranny toast. Puts it on a lift and bottom of car is covered in ATF. Sorry dude no can help. If he had returned when it started leaking he would have been way happier as it would have been fixed no charge.
  4. A little something to read. Hope everything works out as you'd like. http://www.mobiloil.com/USA-English/MotorOil/Car_Care/DIY/Brake_Pedal_Ratio.aspx?pg=1
  5. Just did the daughters. Found these. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=43167 http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=34485
  6. Cannon plugs-sweet! Did they come with back shells and strain reliefs?
  7. I tried #1 through #4 in that order and they helped for a while. Finally pulled the motor and did a complete reseal along with getting the HLA's rebuilt. Prolly should have eplaced the oil pump but it looked good. Maybe 10,000 miles later and still quiet and no oil leaks. Yipee!!! Gotta go over it as soon as it gets back in town cause it's spotting a little coolant.
  8. Search for Tick of death. Tons of great info here.
  9. Here's an idea. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=126316
  10. Nice looking car. I really like that color. We picked up a deflector at the upullit last summer. Wating to paint the car before we install it. The question is do they really help in anyway?
  11. Look at nuts and bolts rather than a self tapping screw. Locks and flats or flats and nylocks should not come loose.
