January 7, 201214 yr Hey guys I've been doing some research on how to get a little of that boxer rumble out of my 2002 outback sport. I'm not looking for anything crazy loud, just enough to sound a little more aggressive. But I defiantly don't want it to sound cheap or rattly or like a Honda with a fart can... from my research it looks mostly like I should invest in some UEL headers and then a new exhaust system. does anyone have some suggestions about brands/types of headers and exhaust combos? I've been seeing mixed reviews about Borla but it seems like a lot of guys have those headers. Also has anyone done this to an '02 obs with any luck? Any suggestions or tips for this would be awesome. Thanks... Also looking for some good sites/dealers to buy my supplies at.
January 7, 201214 yr What's the budget? You can get a nice Tsudo system from the header back for around $520 shipped.
January 7, 201214 yr Author 520$ is totally within range for me. So youre saying keep stock headers? Wouldn't UEL headers give more rumble tho?
January 7, 201214 yr I have to dig through my post over on NASIOC. $520 is a Tsudo UEL header, midpipe, and catback; shipped. http://www.semotors.com/products/.htmltsudo_97_05_subaru_impreza_2_5rs_ej_header_w_downpipe.html http://www.semotors.com/products/tsudo_982d05_impreza_2.5_rs_n1_catback.html
January 7, 201214 yr The UEL headers alone will give you rumble. There is a deal on RS25 right now for the Tsudo headers and cat pipe. http://www.rs25.com/forums/f14/t170752-tsudo-uel-header-catted-catless-stock-now.html
