February 12, 201214 yr I have a 1993 Subaru loyale with the 1.8 in it that has a rod knocking in it. I have a 1988 Subaru DL with the 1.8 in it I am wanting to swap the 88 in to the 93 and from looking at it looks like it should swap over any ideas on any problems I might run n to
February 12, 201214 yr Direct swap. Use the accesory brackets from the 93 since that stuff may have changed over those years - belt routing, tension adjust, etc..... DL won't have AC and the Loyale probably does. GD
February 13, 201214 yr i put a carby motor in my 91 loyale. i left the spfi intake hooked up in car and just dropped in the carby longblock. not sure if your dl is carbed but the only shortfall is a slight compression drop (different pistons).
