I recently bought a 93 legacy. Five speed manual transmission. When I shut the car down then fire it back up, it feels like the brakes are locked on. Once I roll forward about a block the abs light comes on and then appears to release the brakes and it rolls fine. What is the problem here? Any suggestions?

Well last night I pulled apart my left front wheel bearing to realize it is completely shot. The abs sensor was covered in small metal shavings. Could that be a possible cause? I am going to replace the bearing on Friday. I just pulled out the abs relay for now but I really want them working right. I do not know how to get the code for it...
