so while i was doing a diagnostic on my legacy right under the steering wheel i saw this brown sensor and one end had 2 black wires that seemed to be cut anyone know if this is normal and if not where they belong?

it sounds like the diagnostic connector. by using the loose single pin grounding wires you can ''flash'' trouble codes for the TCU, ABS, SRS and maybe more.
