so who has done what kinda alternator swaps??

 

i have no money and a choice from a saab 9000 turbo alternator

and 2 gm alternators

 

anyone else done a gm alt? got sketch for the bracket??

i thought i would ask before i go reinvent stuff

there has been extensive coverage on this topic, I started a long thread "gm alternator conversion" search for gm, alternator, conversion, cadillac, washers

turn alt upside down and use washers and a longer belt, all in the instructions

If I remember tight, that saab you had was an 86.. Correct?

 

I wonder what the amp output is on that alt. On my 92 9000T, the stock alt was 115A
