June 13, 201213 yr 1985 brat got it when i was 13 for $900 with motor and trany under fourty thousand(guy we bought it from was retarded blew them both in under a week and a branch went through windshield)and have been working on it for over two years after my dad bought it as father son project on mothers day and my dad and i have had 5 other brats since i got mine. replaced the door from a two door hatchback but they had different glass so had switch glass after installing. replace both fenders and painted them. got brat canopy for free when my dad bought a 78 brat in the dalles for $100 $100 dollar brat my dad towed it home on a saturday night last summer and got it running the next day after 15 minutes and it sat for 14 years! need to sell now because we have to many cars and will sell after carb. gets back from rebuild. got some peugeot 14 inch rims for $40 this winter raised it about 3 inches Edited June 13, 201213 yr by turbosubarubrat

June 13, 201213 yr Author yours looks great have u got it repainted? my paint is prity oxidized. yah i have a 85 and had a 86 my dad has 2 78's and 79. got this one for 350 in Bingen Washington for $350 for parts because someone rear ended it when it was parked going 60mph aproximently 2 months later it looked something like this. my dad cut out the wheel wells for me, but i did most of everything else taking it apart down to the unibody and even took off all the small plastic pieces that keep stuff together. June 13, 201213 yr yours looks great have u got it repainted? my paint is prity oxidized. Nah it was just wet in that picture. The paint is fairly decent, not like we get baking sun here in the PNW. You should make a build thread for your subies in the "members rides" section.

June 28, 201213 yr Author yah these trucks are very tough and reliable so there great cars for anyone, i met a guy in The Dallas in Oregon who hauls 2 tons of fire wood with his brat 1 ton in the bed and another on a trail he tows behind it:headbang:
