04 baja turbo oil leak ?

Featured Replies

hi i have an 04 baja turbo and it has an oil leak right above the oil filter just wondering if this is a common problem and if it is an easy fix

just wanting an idea of what im getting my self into if i pull it apart thnx

try a search - I think it's called the oil filter adapter and folks have had to re-seal it.

maybe yours is like this? ;http://opposedforces.com/parts/legacy/us_b12/type_38/lubrication_system/oil_cooler_engine/illustration_1/

not uncommon, I suppose there are other possibilities. Are you sure it's oil and not old power steering fluid?

Buy all the gaskets associated with the oil cooler and filter adaptor. Common oil leak along with valve cover gaskets on your engine.
