8" Lift Camber for an 84 Wagon?

Featured Replies

How many degrees should I cut the strut extensions at for an EA81 8" Lift?

I have searched but all I can find is 8" EA82 Wagons.

So pretty much the same as for a 6" lift?

Better put in a full body roll bar because it sounds like you are going to need it.

Strut angle to the body doesn't change no matter how much or how little lift you do. It's geometry and if you have a hard time with that please don't be building lifts and driving on the same roads as the rest of us.

Lol. It is geometry and there is a reason everyone cuts the strut extensions at 14-15 Degrees.

I have seen pictures of wagons with bad camber problems.

easier to ask then build one wrong and have to cut more steel.

I am doing EA82 Control Arms and 10.5 31"s. As well as building a frame for it. I want it to be a big wagon. I have access to a full machine shop including a laser cutter. Already drew up the Diff drop plate and strut extension plates in draft site. and cutting everything this week. I want it to be a nice lift. So if there is anything you guys can help me with it would be much appreciated. Gotta learn somewhere right?
