October 16, 201213 yr Here is my latest splurge for subie goodness 1985 GL Wagon, previously owned by wentz912.Made the journey down last night with my brother-from-another-mother to see this car. Ironically he had just got a new daily driver as well so we decided to put it to the test. Here we are stopped to get some grub on the way back.Did a little cleaning and sorted out all the bonus content that came with the car. Its in pretty good condition overall.Only downside is that there is no ebrake because of the 5 lug conversion.But that should be remedied by this:http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=134321That is Jeszek's rear disk ebrake conversion from an older Accord.Wonder if it works on this setup as well?Now comes a point where I have to think reasonably...I need a commuter for winter, and need to take my Brat off the road to treat some little rust problems and get moving on the suspension for it.This wagon needs a little attention here and there to be completely road worthy.My red '86 however is good to go minus an engine.I'm thinking that this wagon is a better candidate for an EJ swap than the '86 I have since it is already 5 lug and rear-disk.I'm going to pull a switcheroo. :-pYou are looking at the new EJ project here. October 17, 201213 yr Cool! I have a set of 200sx rear calipers with the parking brake, they will bolt right up to the xt6 caliper brackets. PM me if you are interested Ben
