Featured Replies

Has anyone found anyone that rebonds the seals on t-tops mine are constantly separating on the corners, Zap gave me two extras with the truck and they are junk too!

It's the seals around the glass, no hardware involed. they shrink at the corner attached to the outside seal and pull loose.

It is a brat as stated in the first post, would it matter if it were a particular brat? Obviously you don't know what I'm talking about.

I replaced mine with some used ones, and I used a dab of Black Permatex in all 4 corners and a dab in the straight sections about midway. Just enough to secure it down and still make it easy to pull them off someday. Stopped the leakin for me. Permatex is always a last resort for me but its always tempting to try when something wont seal or hold.

3M makes a weatherstripping sealer and adhesive that works well for this application.

Northguy, no hostility intended, Shawn thanx, but the one I looked at yesterday is shrunk a serious 3". Some of that adhesive my work on the ones that are just starting to seperate. Thanx guys!

The seals on my old "for sale" T-tops are fine. I don't think they are shrunk at all :_
