Hi, I have 1980 Brat and I'm looking for the inside and out door handles for my driver side door.

I've checked my local junk yards and can't seem to find any.

Right now I took the handle off the tailgate to at least open the door.

I know the handles on the GL/Leone are the same.

Any help would be appreciated

the second gen handles work to i have used one off a 1986 brat door handle on my dads 79 brat tailgate and it worked great but its a tight fit

I have a 1979 brat that might have those handles.it was my first Subaru.I gave it to my son who ran the wheels off it (as did I) ,Then he sold it to Old One Eye who also ran the tires off it and then I got it back..still running great..No I has a bad engine...:banana:I'll look tommorow and let ya know.Good rides those old ones.

I have some nice interior handle assemblies and the metal rods back to the latch.

Do the gen2 outside handles fit the gen1 ? I'm trying to find a handle for my tailgate- 79brat

like i previously said i put a 2nd gen brat handle on my dads 1979 gen one brat but its a tight fit
