shut my car off last night 98 Subaru Legacy 2.2 auto, all ok this morning went to start no power, sbf links 3,4,5 all blown changed em changed fusible link still no power nothing, lights etc. any ideas?

Besides what you posted, what else have you tried? Any downstream fuses blown? Check ground straps. Assuming your battery is good and you have voltage after SBF 3,4,5. Do you have a wiring diagram? Check main relay. Any smell of burnt electronics?

maybe pull all the fuses, replace the link and sbfs, then start putting fuses back in until the magic smoke comes out again?

no smoke everything normal when i shut it off, no burning smell

I'd have to guess on rodent damage. Except if the constant power lines in the fender were shorted I would think the fuses would have blown again. Unless the wires need to be wiggled just right.

Did it rain overnight?

i think the batt is completely dead ill check in the am

Another thought just occurred to me.

Did you try to jump start the car before finding the blown fuses?
