December 17, 201213 yr I am sure this is the same one that was for sale on eBay late in 2011 and was also featured on BAT: Bring a Trailer Yes I am putting my 'pedantic cap on' but this is a 2 door sedan not a coupe!
December 17, 201213 yr Actually, I looked at the one in Lewisvile Texas. It was not as pristine as the one for $7900. The Lewisville car had trunk rust, aftermarket carpet and a thilthy engine compartment. I almost bought it, but it required more work than I wanted for the asking price. I doubt these are the same cars, unless someone sunk some money into it.

I just looked at it here: http://www.sonorasubaru.com/used/Subaru/1979-Subaru-DL+Coupe-d4d718370a0a000200ceaf8c36568e3b.htm It has the same aftermarket/replacement carpet as I remembered and also some other things looked the same. The guy here wanted 3K!! Maybe I should have bought it and made some $$. This car was a mess up close. Rust behind the bumper, in the trunk and a real mess in the engine compartment. Someone cleaned it up. Todd
